Personal information protection policy
The Japan Fireworks Artists Association (JFAA) has established a personal information protection policy, as indicated below. We have developed a personal information protection system, and we protect personal information by ensuring that all association members understand the importance of protecting personal information and work to ensure such protection.
Management of personal information
In order to keep personal information accurate and up to date, and prevent problems such as unauthorized access, loss, corruption, tampering or leakage, the JFAA takes necessary measures—such as developing a program for security system maintenance/management and providing thorough employ education—implements safety measures, and ensures stringent management of personal information.
Purpose of using personal information
Personal information entrusted to the JFAA will be used to send e-mail and documents when making contact from the JFAA, providing information on the association's work, or responding to questions.
Prohibition of disclosing or providing personal information to third parties
The JFAA will properly manage the entrusted personal information, and will not disclose personal information to third parties, except in cases where one of the following applies:
- When there is customer consent
- When disclosing to a company entrusted with work by the JFAA in order to provide a service desired by the customer
- When disclosure is mandatory due to laws or regulations
Measures to ensure safety of personal information
The JFAA takes all possible measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of personal information.
Access by the person concerned
If the customer expresses a desire to access, correct or delete his or her own personal information, the JFAA will verify the customer's identity, and comply with the customer's wishes.
Compliance with laws, regulations and norms, and policy review
The JFAA will abide by all applicable Japanese laws, regulations and other norms relating to the personal information we possess, and work to improve the content of this policy through appropriate review.
